Your donation to Kidasha can help children like Pramila

Pramila's Hands
Unwanted by her new stepdad, Pramila’s mother sold her daughter as a domestic worker. She was rescued and reunited with her mother, who still didn’t want her and returned her to the original employer. Fearing prosecution the employer turned Pramila onto the streets, where she suffered abuse and struggled to survive collecting rubbish. One of our street team found Pramila and brought her to our emergency shelter. We have helped her get her life back on track, enrolled her in school and are looking for a good solution for her long-term care.

Smiling Boys

Driven from home by family breakdown, violence, drug and alcohol abuse, conflict, natural disaster or simply poverty, many children end up on the streets, scavenging, begging, and selling themselves to survive. We provide these children with protection from abuse, safe shelter, support them to return to school and a normal childhood, and help to get them back into safe and loving homes. We also work with families in crisis to prevent children ending up exploited and alone
